What we look for in a podcast guest

Lessons Learned with TJ is about uncovering the golden nuggets in the parts of our journey – some good, some not so good, and some you’d rather just completely forget ever happened.  It’s about being open and honest and digging into the narrative of your past that serves your future and sharing it with our audience.

When it comes to podcast guests, we’re looking for people who:

  • Have a lesson learned they want to sharing with an audience that has served their professional development
  • Are an open book about their experiences and development
  • Have a growth mindset that shapes their outcome as opportunity
  • Can share their message in a clear, concise, and engaging manner

Application Process

Please note: we typically record episodes several weeks in advance, so our content calendar does fill quickly! As much as we’d love to have each and every one of you on the show, we make guest selections based on topic relevance for our content calendar.

You can expect to hear back from us within a week or two of your application. If we aren’t able to schedule you at this time, we hope you won’t take it personally! And we’ll be sure to keep your name on our list of considerations for future episodes.
